Creation’s canvas coloured
As day eclipses night

His awe beyond compare
His power to subdue nations
His love to others shared
For what in all creation
Can better match the sight
Of evil’s reign surrendered
And sin’s hold put to flight

As nails hold the hands
That carry us to endless peace
Fulfilling loves demands
Lifted up on Calvary
Christ’s majestic grace
Lifted up so death may die
And dying in my place
